Happy Thursday my friends! I absolutely love HIIT workouts (High Intensity Interval Training) because they are fast and efficient and they sky rocket your fat burn!

I do various types of HIIT workouts, sometimes they are just bodyweight only and sometimes I add in weights for strength and cardio combination. HIIT workouts are fantastic because they don’t need to take up a ton of time, and as long as you are pushing yourself to your maximum you can get in a really great workout that burns maximum calories (even long after you’ve finished) in minimum time!

Building strong and toned bodies requires protein, but I don’t just recommend any protein. I’m a huge fan of plant-based protein. Whey protein tends to make me feel bloated. If you are thinking that there is no way you can get enough protein from plants, then you have been misinformed my friend!

Bob’s Red Mill Protein Powder is one of my favorite plant-based proteins because they are gluten-free, vegan, and only contain clean ingredients. They all contain chia seeds (great source of protein) and probiotics. I also love that they are naturally sweetened with Monk Fruit. You can also get a basic protein that is unflavored and unsweetened, which is great for mixing in to your recipes without changing the flavor. The protein also comes from pea protein, and chicory root fiber – each serving has 20 grams of protein and 12 grams of fiber! I add it into my morning post-workout smoothie and it keeps me full until lunch time!
